Russian Infantry Corps (Mid-Late War) ESR Box Set
By the Mid War the Russians had standardized their Army organization: two infantry divisions per infantry corps, backed by artillery, cavalry detached and massed to form reserve cavalry corps. The most common addition to an infantry corps was a large allotment of heavy artillery, though when acting alone, cavalry brigades were often stripped out of the reserve cavalry corps and re-attached to the infantry to provide support.
By the Late War, the Russian ranks were so depleted that multiple infantry corps from 1812 were merged to form 'army corps' in 1813.
This Russian Force includes everything necessary to assemble a basic Russian Infantry Corps for the Mid-Late War, 1812-1815.
